Before jumping into the discussion at hand, I will say first that I’m sorry for the lack of posts. School has been fairly hectic lately, and I have had virtually no time to actually sit down and brainstorm for the blog. That being said, I am back and (hopefully) ready to resume blogging on a consistent basis.
Since school started, I have been really thinking about wardrobe staples and what I consider essential for everyday wear. Last reading week I met my mom in New York City and we worked to conquer a heavy to-do list. On that list, was Ralph’s coffee shop (if you know me or my mother at all, you know that the two of us could be poster children for Ralph Lauren), where I picked up a cute little baseball cap. Little did I know it would be the first of many. Ever since last reading week, I have had a serious obsession with baseball caps. Weird, I know, but somehow if you choose properly, they can complete any outfit! Whether it be to cover some serious bedhead or to complete a “sporty chic” outfit that was put together in 5 minutes, they have manoeuvred their way into my closet (and my heart) and absolutely make it on my list of wardrobe staples.
In case you want to try them out but don’t know where to look, I have posted below a few that I really enjoy!
Smathers & Branson (For you patriotic friends)
Ralph Lauren (Bonus: It is totally customizable)
Lauren James (Plus, it has a bow in the back!)
Aritzia (A versatile one)
Ralph Lauren (My very favourite baseball hat EVER)
Phase 3 (A warmer, wool hat for winter)
